Sinopsis: Una niña huérfana intenta superar las realidades caóticas que la rodean. Es la historia de una niñez y los recuerdos perdidos, y la entrada a la adultez.

Born in TbilisI, Georgia. Graduated from the University of Georgia with a Diploma as a Linguist-Interpreter, later B.A in Communicational Design at Peter Behrens Scholl of Arts Düsseldorf and M.F.A at Academy of Media Arts in Cologne, with the focus on film and animation. «Summer story» is the first animated film in cutout technique was premiered at 63. International Film Short Festival in Oberhausen. Yana got to be a Semi – Finalist at 44. Student Academy Award and was honoured as a Best Young Regisseur on the 19. Festival Corto in Spain. Her second animated film «Armed Lullaby» was funded by the Film- and Medienstiftung NRW. Yana is currently working on her documentary film «Case Nr. 79087 17».
